Accounting Services
Here’s an illustrated overview of our team performing the functions of an accounting department for your business.
You won’t use everything that’s outlined here, but this flowchart does give you an idea of what we can do for you. (More details about our services are explained below.)
Bookkeeping Services
Our position on bookkeeping isn’t just entering transactions for accuracy, but also recording your data in a meaningful way that serves your reporting needs.
This might include customizing the data entry process that will produce a more meaningful report than what you’ve had in the past. For example, did you know the memo line of your check shows up on several reports in QuickBooks? What if instead of the traditional way of recording an item on that memo line we used it to help you with your reporting needs?
Bookkeeping is more than just data entry. It can be customized to fit the reporting needs of your business when you leverage the software’s “unique characteristics”.
Bookkeeping includes the entire payables and receivables process as outlined above.
Accounting Services
Accounting Services are a supervisory role of the Bookkeeper and include reconciling accounts at the end of the month, as well as accounting for inventory, job costing, payroll administration, and other management and financial accounting tasks that generally assist the CFO in presenting financial reports to the CEO. Additional tasks may also include audit and forensic accounting.
If you already have a bookkeeper our accounting services can be used to complement your accounting needs.
CFO Services
Our fractional CFO Services include advising on Cash Flow, Budgeting, Forecasting, Business Planning, and much more. The CFO oversees the entire accounting process of your business.

Financial Assessment
The Balance Sheet is your month-end checklist and we’ll review it with you, so you can see what we see. We’ll primarily use this to assess your books and drill into accounts that look funny and verify when accounts were last reconciled. This is a one-hour paid consultation.
Accounting Clean Up
To perform the accounting clean up an assessment is necessary and we’ll review the books with you, so you see what we see. This report is yours to keep if you decide to work with someone else.
